Skiing in Folgaria
Your lift pass covers a total of almost 100km of pistes on over 67 different slopes, all of which are integrated. The resort offers wonderful skiing for the beginner and intermediate. Beginners will commence at the excellent nursery slopes close to the village at Francolini or Fondo Grande, before continuing to the slightly more challenging blue slopes of Passo Sommo and Francolini. Intermediates of all standards will enjoy a variety of descents in Fondo Piccolo, Fondo Grande, Serrada and Passo Coe. More skiing is available in the areas of Corneto and Lavarone (each with approximately 20km of pistes), accessed by local ski bus. More than 20 English speaking instructors offer group lessons in downhill skiing and snowboarding.
Après Ski
There are many après-ski possibilities in Folgaria. Shops are open late in the evenings and pedestrianised streets allow for a safe stroll. A large indoor sports complex offers swimming and ice-skating for groups while John’s Disco offers students a chance to let their hair down a little. Hotels generally have large recreational rooms available for video, quiz nights etc.
Sports Centre
Take a dip in the indoor swimming pool, enjoy five-a-side football and take advantage of the many sport activities available in the local sports centre.
Bowling
An evening of bowling in Lavarone is the perfect group activity providing a fun-filled end to a day on the slopes. Transfers required.
Disco Night
Disco night is always a highlight for the students with plenty of dancing and socialising with their fellow classmates.
Movie Night
Enjoy a night at the movies at the local cinema (English movies no subtitles).
Ice Skating
Enjoy Ice skating at the local ice skating rink for an ideal apres-ski activity.
Pizza Night
Pizza night allows the group to kick back and relax with some delicious pizza!

This wonderful hotel is located a few steps from the pedestrian area of the village, sports centre and ice-skating rink making it a great choice for school groups.
The slopes and ski school meeting point is 1.5kms away and the free local ski shuttle bus will have you there in about 10 minutes. (The bus stop is 150m from the hotel).
The 52 rooms are very comfortable and well-equipped, and sleep up to 6 guests in each. All rooms have private ensuite facilities, hairdryer, TV and safe, with many also having a balcony.
